I am going to try to make a posable armadillo figurine.

I will make a “spine” using some sort of flexible rod that goes through a series of “ribs” that extend from the bottom of the exterior plates, down through holes in the (hollow, hopefully soft) body.  Depending on the material I find to make the body, I might break the body into segments and hide the separations under the back plates.
